Ashwagandha Tincture Recipe - Quick & Simple!

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that’s wonderful for supporting us through difficult times - it strengthens our adrenals and nervous system, making us more resilient to stress and anxiety. It’s incredible for people who are prone to anxiety, stress related insomnia, overwhelm / burnout, and mental exhaustion!


Today I’m sharing how to make an ashwagandha tincture the folk method! This means that we don't have to get too specific with measurements, but rather eyeball the ratios we're aiming for (1:3-1:4).


The method:


Fill your mason jar 1/4-1/3 of the way with dried ashwagandha root, then top with alcohol for a 1:4-1:3 ratio. Shake it up, add the date, and be sure to shake it daily for the next six weeks. 6 weeks later, it’ll be ready to strain and use for mocktails, in your coffee, or however you like to take your tinctures!
